Terms & Policies for Airbombairfresh

1. General Information

This website is owned and operated by Airbombairfresh, based in New Zealand. By purchasing from our store, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

2. Products

We are a New Zealand owned company and all the designs are created in New Zealand. 

Fragrance descriptions are provided to the best of our ability, but individual experiences may vary.

We are not responsible for misuse of the product (e.g., direct contact with skin, ingestion, or placing in unsafe areas). All packaging includes instructions for handling the products correctly. 

Our flag air freshener designs are created with respect for cultural diversity and are meant solely for fragrance and decoration. They carry no political intentions.

3. Orders & Payment

Prices are listed in NZD and do not include GST. We are currently not GST registered.

We accept all payments provided by Shopify payments.

Orders are confirmed once payment has been received.

4. Shipping

We ship only within New Zealand

Standard shipping times: 2–5 business days NZ

We charge a flat rate of $7 NZD for shipping in New Zealand

At this time we don’t offer international shipping. We are currently working on global shipping. 

Please ensure the delivery address is correct. We are not responsible for delays or non-delivery caused by incorrect addresses provided at checkout.

5. Returns & Refunds

Due to the personal nature of air fresheners, we cannot accept returns for change of mind or opened products.

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us within 7 days of delivery with proof (photos) for a replacement or refund in accordance with the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Acts 1993.

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Please note that non-refundable transaction fees charged by payment providers may be deducted from the refund amount.

We aim to resolve any issues directly with customers in good faith before escalation.

Please note: When ordering a Mystery Pack, you agree to receive random air freshener designs. Because of the surprise nature of this product, designs cannot be exchanged or refunded if they are not to your personal taste.

6. Cancellations

Orders can only be cancelled before dispatch. Once shipped, cancellations are not possible.

7. Liability

We are not liable for any allergic reactions, staining, or damage caused by misuse of the product.

Keep products out of reach of children and pets.

Hang the air freshener freely using the attached string, ensuring it doesn't touch any interior surfaces or obstruct visibility or driving instruments. If accidental contact occurs, wipe the area immediately with a cloth. Avoid direct skin contact. If it touches skin or eyes, rinse thoroughly with water.

8. Privacy Policy

We collect customer details (name, email, shipping address) solely for order processing.

Payment information is processed securely through our payment provider; we do not store card details.

We do not sell or share your information with third parties.

We may also use cookies and third-party services (such as Shopify analytics, Google, or Meta) to improve your shopping experience and for marketing purposes. Customers may opt out of email marketing at any time by unsubscribing.

10. Use of Website

You agree not to use this website for any unlawful purpose, including but not limited to fraudulent orders, automated scraping, or attempts to interfere with site security or functionality.

Any unauthorised use of our website content, images, or designs may result in legal action.

11. Force Majeure

We are not liable for any delays or failures in fulfilling orders due to events outside our control, such as natural disasters, postal or courier disruptions, or pandemics.

12. Updates to Terms

We may update these terms and policies from time to time. By continuing to use this website, you agree to be bound by the latest version.

13. Consumer Guarantees Act (CGA)

Nothing in these terms affects your rights under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
If your product is faulty, damaged, unsafe, or not as described, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund in accordance with the CGA.

14. Governing Law

All transactions are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes arising in connection with these terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
